The Out-of-Hours Emergency Service within Aġenzija Appoġġ operates on an on-call basis, with its workers intervening in emergency situations of child protection, DV or minors protected by a care order that occur outside normal working hours. Referrals are channelled through the main services and/or support line 179, and workers co-ordinate the necessary interventions to protect those concerned.
